Sporran Purse, Turqousie, 18th Century Style, with tooled Kelpie flap

This sporran is a turqouise 18th Century Style blet bag made of turqouise cowhide and Saddle tan vegi-tanned cowhide flap.  The Flap has been embellished with a hand tooled Kelpie and hand braided with 2 loop Spanish lacing.. The closure is a nickle antiqued Celtic Knot Design. The drawstrings are embellished with hand laced Turks Heads Knots. The belt loop will accomodate up to a 1.25 " wide belt. 

The bag measures approximately 8.5" wide and 9" tall (top of flap to bottom of sporran). There is plenty of room for your cell phone, wallet keys, whiskey flask, etc.ran from the FIW period. It is simply a whimsy, if you will. I thought it would look cool, so I made one, well this number 4 actually.
