Jacobite Baldric 18th Century, for Basket Hilt, Backswords, ECW, 2 Loop

Regular price $300.00

Looking for a more period appropriate Baldric? Not easy to find are they? This is our first offering of our version of the Baldric for the Basket hilt or Backsword. It is made of a thick 8-9 oz veggie tanned cowhide that has been hand cut, hand dyed and manually hand sewn. It is dyed with our own dye mix, we call Antique Oak. It is entirely hand sewn to avoid using any metal rivets. The only metal being the Reproduction 18th Century brass 2 prong or 1 prong buckle . The Baldric has 5 sets of holes for lengths of 61" to 65". I can add more sets of holes if you require them. These now come with 2  belt keepers, which holds the excess belt in place, the first one is fixed and the second moves so you can place where it is most comfortable for you.
