Sporran, Black Rob Roy Style, with GR Cypher
This sporran is a Black Rob Roy Style made of black cowhide and black hand dyed vegi tanned cowhide. The sporran flap and bag are hand laced with 2 loop Spanish lacing. The Flap has also been embellished with a hand tooled replica of the GR Cypher, as seen on a belly box from the French & Indian War period. The closure is a brass stud. The drawstrings are embellished with hand cut and finished deer antler beads.
This is a belt sporran that fits directly onto the kilt belt (not included),and will fit up to a 3" wide kilt belt. The sporran belt adapter shown can be added at no extra charge. I also have plain black sporran belts which can be added for an added coast of $25 (sporran belt adapter not required). The bag measures approximately 8.5" wide and 8.5" tall (top of flap to bottom of sporran), and has no gusset. There is plenty of room for your cell phone, wallet keys, whiskey flask, etc.
Note: This is not a replication of any extant sporran from the FIW period. It is simply a whimsy, if you will. I thought it would look cool, so I made one.
