Sporran, Rob Roy French & Indian War Styled
This Rob Roy Sporran is inspired by an extant example found in North America. It is made of a very soft 3 oz. Tan Cowhide. The closure is a hand cut deer antler button. The piece is entirely hand sewn, no metal fasteners have been used in the construction of this sporran. The integral sporran belt is hand sewn to the bag, and complete with antiqued brass buckle. The belt is not punched so that it can be finished to size specifications. The belt can fit up to a length of 56". The bag is 6" deep and 7" wide, with a 2.5" gusset. The tassels are embellished with hand braided Turks heads knots.
* Updated 2/21: I re-stitched the bag seams to match the flap with crisscrossed stitching and added the leather logo patch.
